Our history
Healing the Heart Life Center is based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Since we began almost 20 years ago, our foundational desire has been to help guide people into who they were created to be.
We believe that genuine freedom, joy, peace, and restoration are only fully accessible through Jesus. The life-changing principles we teach are sourced from Scripture, as we believe the Bible is 100% the Word of God.
Over the years, we have seen our ministry’s influence become multigenerational. It has been an honor to see people step into their identity as sons and daughters of God as we continue to welcome those of all ages and walks of life.
Healing the Heart Life Center was founded by Linda Forster over 20 years ago. Linda’s own personal journey with God into freedom fostered deep compassion for the wounded and hurting to be healed and released into their destinies. Her background as a registered nurse brings a unique perspective to healing in the body, soul, and spirit. She is the author of Forgiveness: Gateway to Healing, Unmasking the Great Pretender, and Breaking Trauma Bonds. Linda also wrote Loved to Life I, II, and III— courses designed for pursuing lasting freedom and accessing God’s destiny in your life. Linda is also the founder of Covenant of Peace ministries. In 2019, Linda stepped back from being the director of Healing the Heart Life Center to have more time to write and concentrate on Healing the Heart International.
Cherie Anthony was appointed director of Healing the Heart Life Center in 2019. Cherie is an ordained pastor and has ministered alongside Linda Forster for more than 20 years.
Cherie Anthony has been an Inner Healing and Deliverance Prayer Minister for nearly three decades. Cherie’s welcoming heart for people is multigenerational; she ministers to the pre-born, children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Her constant hope is to lead others to the heart of Jesus, releasing them into freedom, identity, and destiny.
Healing the Heart Life Center’s team has brought healing to thousands of people seeking to overcome the obstacles in life that are preventing them from living in freedom. They are excited to continue to lead many more through a healing journey.
